The system modeling application is screening level tool to build a static model of a compression system. A compression system includes an inlet separator, a driver, a compressor, and may include heat exchanger(s), side stream(s), alternate inlet(s), or a flow splitter(s).
The application allows you to build your compression system to right of the inlet separator which is static in the design area. Simply select an element at the bottom of the window and drag it up to the design area and it will dock itself in position. If the element is not is the right place simply click and drag it to the correct location.
Once the element has been added to the system, right click on the element to open a dialog for that particular element so that it can be configured for your application.
The application allows you to model a compression system as simple as a straight through single section compressor with an inlet separator and an electric motor driver to a multi-section compressor with several side streams and a gas turbine driver (and more!)
